The Melbourne Boat Show is set to return to Docklands this spring, bringing Victoria’s biggest celebration of boating and marine lifestyle to the city’s waterfront.

Running from October 16 to 19, the four-day event will transform NewQuay Promenade and Harbour Esplanade into a hub of activity, showcasing everything from fishing boats and pontoons to sailing yachts, wake boats, jet skis and wooden classics.

With more than 100 exhibitors and hundreds of boats on display across five Docklands marinas, the show promises something for seasoned skippers and first-time visitors alike. It’s a chance to explore the latest innovations in boating, see new model launches, and speak directly with industry experts.

Beyond the boats, the program is packed with family-friendly activities and entertainment. Highlights include stage presentations from leading marine personalities, a Kids’ Zone, fishing simulators, a Super Tank, rig rundown demonstrations, and the chance to explore tall ships up close.

Suzuki ambassador and 7Mate Step Outside show host, Paul Burt will also be dishing out valuable tips and tricks on fishing and cooking your catch.

Organisers said the Boat Show continued to evolve as an accessible event for all Victorians, with free entry and an emphasis on interactive experiences. Visitors are encouraged to register ahead of time for fast entry and the chance to win a range of prizes. Each ticket is valid across the full four days, allowing boating enthusiasts to come and go as they please.

The return of the Melbourne Boat Show further cements Docklands’ reputation as the state’s maritime events capital, with the harbour’s unique backdrop providing a natural stage for the on-water displays.

The Melbourne Boat Show will run from 12pm to 6pm on Thursday, October 16, from 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, October 19.
