Spring brings even more in Docklands

Spring brings even more in Docklands

As the weather finally gets warmer and we begin to feel spring in the air the events just keep coming.

Docklands hosted the site of the launch of the City of Melbourne’s new Now or Never Festival last weekend.

We had the absolute pleasure of showcasing the Melbourne-grown, larger-than-life Art Trail which was a truly spectacular site to be seen along 1.2 kilometres along Victoria Harbour.  Seven large-scale installations were on display and included live-data projections, knots and crosses and fog and smoke bubbles.

It was an amazing sight to behold as visitors were mesmerised and captivated. We hope that this is the start of more AI and light projection projects and promotions to be featured in Docklands.

If you’re like me and an old-school Friends fan, from September 1 to November 26, you can step inside the world of Friends at The District Docklands.

This is a must for all die-hard Friends fans to experience the sets and iconic photo ops with props and costumes. This is just one of many upcoming events happening at this exciting location so visit The District Docklands online for all the booking details.

We are also eagerly awaiting the return of the 2023 Melbourne International Boat Show for the second year.

This year it will run from Thursday, October 26 to Sunday, October 29. This is the largest event for the local marine industry which attracts thousands of keen boaters, water sport enthusiasts, fishing aficionados and visitors both nationally and internationally.

And, of course, with plenty of entertainment and refreshments from our Docklands businesses to enjoy. Catch you there!
