Docklands abuzz with spring activities

As we all know Marvel Stadium is undergoing a world-class renovation, and the results to date are nothing short of thrilling, we can’t wait to see more!

The brand-new concept of Stadium Golf has been a hit these past few weeks and with this success expect to see an even bigger and better version next year.

Stadium Golf ran from September 14 to 24 at Marvel stadium, giving people the unique chance to show off their skills by driving golf balls onto the pitch.

Golfers teed off from multiple locations around the stadium, including corporate boxes and the player entrance, with 18 strokes over nine holes set out on the famous green below.

TaylorMade supplied premium golfing equipment, while Resimax offering a $10,000 reward to the first person to score a hole-in-one on its sponsored hole.

While footy fans will be saddened about the AFL season finishing, they will be treated to a small dose of Beatlemania with rock royalty Sir Paul McCartney who will perform at Marvel stadium from October 21 to 22 as part of his Australia tour – his first visit since 2017.

In other exciting news, NewQuay promenade will again be hosting the Melbourne Boat Show from October 26 to 29 and based off the success of last year this is one not to be missed.

There is surely no better location for an amazing event of this nature so sail down and soak it all in while strolling along the waterways ... and don’t forget to snap up some delicious snacks with special offerings from our local food and beverage providers.
