Tourism bus to continue
29th October, 2013
Melbourne City Sightseeing (MCS) buses will continue to bring tourists into Docklands.
At a Future Melbourne meeting last month councillors voted unanimously to allow the tourist buses to continue to use City of Melbourne bus stops at Harbour Town, the Shrine of Remembrance and the Arts Centre.
MCS had been using council’s Melbourne Visitor Service (MVS) stops during a three-month trial, which ended in August and since then it had been using generic tourism bus stops.
The MCS route extends beyond the MVS route but also intersects, providing tourists with connectivity to various forms of transport.
