Support for local garden

Local businesses are getting behind the Docklands Community Garden.

The garden committee last month held a fundraising barbeque and was buoyed by the support of local businesses.

Vin Tan Bakery donated rolls for the barbeque, Westpac helped out with the barbeque and real estate agencies Barry Plant and Lucas Real Estate donated $300 each.

The garden volunteers have raised $1260, through donations and the barbeque, which will be put towards much needed pots, soil and maintenance work.
