Spirited exchange

Local dragon boat club the Melbourne Flames had some company last month when the Victorian Women’s Cricket team VicSpirit joined them on the water.
The Flames hosted the cricketers for a team building activity, providing an opportunity to showcase their sport to the elite cricket squad, some of whom have played for Australia.
The session focused on team work, paddling techniques and fun, finishing with a 200-metre race between two boats filled with both paddlers and cricketers.
