Room to read

Located in the District Docklands, the reading room is a must for local book lovers.

The reading room provides a tranquil space for local residents to be able to sit and read a book. The space allows visitors to borrow a book of their choice and encourages the books to either be returned or for another book to be left in its place.

Donations are welcomed to assist the reading room’s continuation. Book donations can be dropped off at The District Docklands customer service centre, open every day from 11am to 5pm. Customer service is located on Docklands Drive, at the Wharf Street entrance to the centre.
