New library not for residents

I am a resident of Docklands and was really looking forward to using the library facilities but I realised that opening hours are during the week only and close at 5pm. Having a “normal” job from 8.30 to 5.30, I was hoping I could go on the weekend but realised it is not open!

Who is the library catering for? Certainly not for residents.

Am I the only one thinking the same way? Is there a plan to extend the opening hours to the weekend even if it means being closed on a Monday for example?
