Yarra’s Edge was a sight for sore eyes (and a relief for sore legs and arms) for competitors competing in the Marysville to Melbourne challenge last month.
About 700 people took part in the gruelling challenge, which involved a 155km one day trek involving trail running, road cycling and flat water paddling.
Competitors started on foot in Marysville and ended by paddling into Yarra’s Edge.
James Pretto was first to cross the finish line with a time of 7 hours and 53 minutes.
