Green advice at The Hub
Docklanders have two opportunities to learn about gardening during free lunchbox sessions The Hub this month.
On February 11, Docklanders can learn about window farming through a workshop held by Green Renters.
Window farming is an initiative aimed at people who live in small spaces where a typical garden is not possible, making it the perfect opportunity for Docklands residents.
Attendees will learn about options for growing plants in small spaces.
On February 13, horticulturalist Sandi Pullman will be back at The Hub, to share the secret of growing leafy vegetables.
Ms Pullman is a regular visitor to Docklands, having helped out at the community garden and held gardening information sessions at The Hub.
Autumn is the best time to plant leafy vegetables, so the session should come in handy in the lead up to the seasonal change.
Lunchbox sessions are free to attend but bookings are required. To make a booking or for more information, contact The Hub on 8622 4822.
Both sessions run from 12.30pm until 1.15pm at The Hub, 80 Harbour Esplanade.
