Girls compete for Miss Universe entry

Three young hopefuls last month in Docklands won wildcard entries into this year’s Miss Universe Australia pageant.

The three were chosen from 15 popularly-nominated girls and competed for the wildcard entry at a lavish event held on May 25 at Sumic on Central Pier.

The winner of the event also picked up an advertising contract and $50,000 in cash and prizes from Miss Universe sponsor Dodo.
