Exploring Docklands
29th October, 2013
More than 600 people explored Docklands last month during the annual Great Amazing Race.
The event, which raised $21,799 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, required participants to visit various locations at the western end of Docklands.
Participants could be seen pushing teammates in a wheelbarrow around a track on top of the Harbour Town carpark, while others gave “crazy bikes” a try.
Participants also headed to the Icehouse where they skated around the ice rink while wearing penguin “onesies”.
“The event was a great opportunity for participants to see and experience the attractions at Harbour Town, whilst participating in a fantastic day,” event co-ordinator James Atkinson said.
