Experts to get down and dirty at MCEC
3rd August, 2010
World attention will be focussed on South Wharf in September as experts tackle issues surrounding polluted development sites.
This year the annual Sustainable Risk Rationalisation Conference is being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from September 2-3.
The conference, which is in its third year, will see 29 leading experts from Australia, China and the USA present to delegates on reducing the risks created by the redevelopment of “brownfield” sites.
Former secretary of the Californian EPA and chief environmental policy advisor to Governor Schwarzenegger, Terry Tamminen, is presenting at the conference.
