Docklands News close to a century

‘Docklands News’ celebrates its 100th edition this August, marking a major milestone for your local newspaper.

Starting out as a community-building tool initiated by VicUrban (now Places Victoria) in 2003, today the paper is independently owned by Shane Scanlan.

To celebrate, we’re asking our readers to send in their best photos from the last 10 and a half years in Docklands for publication.

We’ve included one in this edition (pictured above), believed to have been taken at a Docklands Chamber of Commerce meeting in 2004, which features many faces who are still well-known in Docklands, including Renzo Mammolito, Peter and Lyn Kelly, Keith Rankin and Paul Lachal.
