Docklands in the fast lane

Formula 1 came to Docklands a week early last month when Aussie ace Mark Webber roared into Waterfront City.

Fans were out in force to meet the local hero who performed a promotional crossing of the Bolte Bridge early on Saturday, March 19.

The bridge was closed in both directions for the stunt, which lasted only a few minutes.  The crossing was shown live on the piazza big screen.

Webber greeted his fans and was publicly interviewed on the piazza stage.
