Dock tours are on again

The Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) is again conducting port boat tours departing from Waterfront City during March.

The free tours will include a guided commentary from PoMC staff and offer an excellent opportunity to see the working port up close. Tours will be on Saturdays (March 10, 17 and 24) and Sundays (March 4 and 25) departing Docklands at 9.30am, noon and 2.30pm. Check  http://www.portofmelbourne .com/community for more information.

The best way to book is via the online booking form on the PoMC website. Bookings will be open from Tuesday, February 6 and tours are expected to fill fast.

Due to safety issues, children under 8 years are not allowed.

Tours will run to Williamstown (Gem Pier) and back and visit major port facilities including Swanson Dock, South Wharf, Victoria Dock and the Yarraville berths.
