Bricks and Clicks – David Koch

It’s been a massive month for the Docklands Chamber of Commerce.

We hosted a special digital media and business building talk with Sunrise’s David Koch and also featured such luminary guests as the director of Xero business accounting and the founder of Emma and Tom’s juices.

The function area of Berth restaurant was packed and the day proceeded to be extremely informative for all.

Speed Networking

We also hosted our second speed networking event. It’s been extremely positive and interesting to see a great range of new businesses and some old faces connect in an innovative modern way. We’ll be hosting our next networking and business events again in just five weeks so keep an eye on our website visitdocklands.com.au and docklandscc.com.au. In the past six weeks we have had over 20 new businesses join the chamber and take part in these events.

What’s next for Docklands?

We’ve very recently begun our presentation of a fully-fledged business case to bring permanent activation to Victoria Harbour along the lines of Marina Bay in Singapore.

In the coming weeks we will be releasing the first impressions of this to the public and businesses alike for further comment and direction. Activating and utilising out waterways is part of our five-year strategic plan and will ideally align to the forthcoming redevelopment of Marvel Stadium. Keep an eye out on our social media or send an email directly to [email protected] to be notified of these next two announcements.
