Big celebration for team
11th February, 2014
Australia’s World Dwarf Games team was reunited in Docklands last month.
The team, which won 76 medals at the World Dwarf Games in Michigan, USA last August, came together at Watermark in Docklands on Australia Day.
According to team captain Sam Millard, the team had been fortunate to be asked to march in the Australia Day parade down Swanston St earlier that day.
The team then headed to Docklands for a team reunion and celebration at Watermark.
“It was great to have the support of Dante and the team at Watermark for helping the celebration be such a success, with team members attending the night from all around Australia,” Mr Millard said.
