Tom Seymour has won a luxury cruise for himself and nine mates on the fabulous Quest III, courtesy of Atlantic Group Catering promotion.

Tom, who works for Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s global breeding operation Darley, booked an event with Altantic between May and July and was announced the winner last month.

The collaboration between Atlantic and Quest III is a good example of how local Docklands businesses can work together.  Both businesses are based at Central Pier.

According to Quest III owners Bill McDonnell and Sally Hewitt, the collaboration brings potential benefits to all parties.

“With Atlantic’s proven marketing ability, we just have to concentrate on running the boat,” Ms Hewitt said.

Bill McDonnell has been building Quest III for about 20 years.  Docklanders would have seen the 25-metre vessel coming together for the past two years outside Shed 2 in Victoria Harbour.

Quest III is very close to achieving a certificate of survey, but doesn’t need this to take to Victoria Harbour with Tom and his mates.

“I just great,” Mr Seymour said. “I can’t wait to get out there with my best mates.”
