Remedial works for EXO
4th July, 2014
Lend Lease is installing insulation in the roof of EXO in Victoria Harbour, after temperature changes caused the building to start making strange noises.
It’s understood fluctuating temperatures were causing the concrete slab roof to emit creaking, crackling sounds in some apartments.
“We have partnered with independent experts to identify the source of noise detected in some of the upper level apartment,” a Lend Lease spokesperson said.
“Works have commenced to further insulate the concrete roof and will be completed in approximately five weeks. We will continue to monitor the situation post-installation.”
“We have been in regular contact with residents about this matter and assured them that the building is safe and secure.”
