Don’t be surprised to see reconstruction start soon on the Southern Star Observation Wheel.
Three cranes are in place and parts are being assembled in the nearby holding yard opposite Costco at Waterfront City.
ING Real Estate, which owns the failed tourism attraction, isn’t saying anything. It’s been burned in the past by announcing dates, only to suffer delays and loss of reputation.
But the signs are all good for a revival of hopes and spirits for the resilient and loyal Docklands traders at Harbour Town who have been toughing it out without their star attraction for two years.
