‘Docklands News’ came across painter Stephen Armstrong (pictured) last month as he worked on a piece in preparation for the Mission to Seafarers’ Art Prize and Exhibition.

The exhibition, which takes place in Docklands each October, asks artists to respond to the theme “the relationship between humanity and the sea”.

When Docklands News spoke to Stephen he had been working on his piece for two hours and said it was almost finished.
