Melbourne Quarter to bring two weeks of festive fun

From Tuesday, December 5, Melbourne Quarter will come alive with food stalls, live music, free food, and drinks for all Melburnians to enjoy.

The celebrations will roll over the course of two weeks. Week one kicks off with free coffees and mini danishes from the team at Peddler Espresso; followed by slider tastings at the vibrant Royal Stacks (offering mini versions of their two most popular burgers) with a DJ playing tunes for all guests in the outdoor seating area.

Closing out week one is a pop-up stall featuring Docklands’ favourite panini bar, Saluministi. Set to open their doors in Melbourne Quarter in the coming months, Saluministi will be offering free mini tastings of their famous panini and cannoli, while the Ital-disco DJ plays in the background.

Founders, Peter Mastro and Frank Bressi will also be there to meet the locals and provide an insight into what’s to come for the precinct’s newest venue.

“We are very excited to be joining the Melbourne Quarter community, with two operating stores across Melbourne CBD, we can’t wait to open the doors to our third location,” Mr Mastro said.

Week two will see Melbourne Quarter’s newest cafe Gilbert offer free coffees, sweetened with a taste of their popular flourless brownie; alongside this will also be an exclusive offer from Fishbowl, which will provide a VIP tasting of its latest bowl “Streetfood By Fishbowl” to 125 guests.

To round out the celebrations, there will be Happy Hour at Sergy Boy on December 14, with roaming canapes, Aperol Spritz, tap beer by Moondog and Balter, wine by the glass, and live music.
