Keys to life

Eight-year-old Lim Ky has been playing keyboard for three-and-a-half years. He plays at the District every Sunday without fail, even when sick.
Passers-by, shopkeepers and shoppers gave him loud applause at the end of every song on Sunday, December 1.
Ky’s parents, Paul and Leng, said Ky had ADHD but focused intently on the instrument. Paul, an amputee, took pride in his son’s talent and drive.
“Ky’s real blessing is not just playing the keyboard but sharing his skills and instrument with his friends, encouraging them to make music as well,” he said.
