Icehouse to host nationals
28th May, 2013
Docklands’ Icehouse is set to host the Australian Figure Skating Championships later this year.
The championships will be held at the Icehouse between November 30 and December 5 and is expected to attract around 600 of Australia’s best figure skaters.
The event was last held at the Icehouse in 2010 and prior to that hadn’t been held in Victoria since 1999.
The event holds extra importance for senior skaters as their performance at the nationals can determine representation at international events including the World Championships.
