Home Docklands launches 676 new build-to-rent apartments
Australian build-to-tent (BTR) provider Home has launched its latest project, Home Docklands, which aims to redefine urban living standards.
This new development is set to accommodate around 1300 residents, expanding Home’s community to a total of 2800, which includes existing locations at Home Southbank and Home Richmond.
Situated next to Marvel Stadium at 685 La Trobe St, Home Docklands features 676 apartments housed within two towers, rising 30 and 31 stories high.
The design was created in partnership with the acclaimed architectural firm Cox Architecture. The towers are linked by a shared amenities floor and offer a variety of living options, including studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.
“Home Docklands is more than just a place to live, it’s a vibrant community where residents can thrive,” head of Home Christian Grahame said.
“With an interactive program of events, diverse amenities, state-of-the-art co-working spaces, pet-friendly spaces and add-ons like apartment cleaning and handyman services, we’ve designed Home Docklands to be high on style, as well as providing convenience and a strong sense of security for today’s renters.”
The communal spaces and services at Home Docklands are crafted to enhance daily living, featuring impressive amenities such as a 25-metre swimming pool, an infrared sauna, a cutting-edge gym, and dedicated spin and Pilates studios, alongside a committed resident services team.
To further foster a sense of community, the development will host a variety of dining options, including Doglands; a pub, restaurant, and brewery from Moon Dog, as well as Home’s own café, Milkbar.
“We’re constantly striving for continuous improvement, and each new development is an opportunity to refine our offering,” Mr Grahame said.
“Home Southbank and Home Richmond have achieved an outstanding 95 per cent resident satisfaction rate, according to our latest survey, and we look forward to achieving the same great results at Home Docklands.”
Docklands has quickly emerged as a central location for Melbourne's professional workforce, with 42.2 per cent of its residents holding positions in professional fields.
Home Docklands offers leases that range from six months to six years, providing residents with both flexibility and security.
These diverse lease options ensure tenants have a stable living arrangement tailored to their needs, while also catering to various lifestyle preferences.
Additionally, apartments are available in furnished, unfurnished, and appliance-ready options. •
