If the AFL is looking for grassroots footy, it need only look out the window.
Cut and Fill contractor Wayne Peacock last month took a big grab during a smoko break from the business of redeveloping Harbour Esplanade.
Wayne and mates gave new meaning to the term “grassroots footy” as they “drilled the pill” around the roadway.
They were the real deal, while the plastic grass outside AFL headquarters remains obviously fake.
