Festive welcome for park
5th February, 2015
Docklands’ newest public space received a warm welcome last month when MAB Corporation held a mini-festival to celebrate the launch of Monument Park.
The artwork and public space at NewQuay was celebrated with acrobats, music, face-painting, a balloon artist, along with plenty of food and fun.
The warm weather saw plenty of families take advantage of the activities on offer.
Funded by MAB Corporation and Places Victoria, the 2000sqm sculpture park was designed by award-winning artist Callum Morton and cost $3.1 million to create.
