The building at 757 Bourke St, filled with apartments, beauty parlours and restaurants is crowned with an oversized, Vegas style sign that reads “On the beach”, but no one seems to know why!

The real estate agent told Docklands News he didn’t know off the top of his head, and workers in restaurants had no idea. One of them said she wasn’t even aware it was there.
