Sometimes, a stunning view makes you stop in your tracks, and you find yourself taking a moment to appreciate the spectacular landscape in front of you.

With nature that beautiful, you know it’s one of those “take a picture, it’ll last longer” moments.

The COVID-19 pandemic which began in 2020 created havoc all around the world. With everything around you coming to standstill, life was taking a pause.

Though 2020 was a difficult phase for everyone, it came to me as a joyful pregnancy phase.

With my son “Aarav” born later that year, it was time to move to a bigger space to accommodate our growing family’s needs.

Welcome to the 31st floor of our beautiful apartment overlooking the stunning Victoria Harbour and the Bolte Bridge.

The step into the balcony takes you to another world, more precisely towards that amazing sunset.

Doing something that expresses yourself can give you a sense of accomplishment and purpose. It gave me immense satisfaction after I clicked the very first sunset photo from our balcony.

Beautiful, everchanging sunsets made me pursue photography as a hobby during COVID times.

Every evening’s sunset was my “go-to place” when the COVID world around me was stagnant. There is never the same sunset ever, and nor is there ever the same sunrise hue.

To date, I have managed to take more than 300 sunset photos and more than 100 daytime photos with my iPhone, and many of them have been featured in the weather section of Channel 7 news.

Docklands, day or night, is absolutely stunning to the eye! Its magnificent, modern, and innovative designs stand honoured as you take in the views.

Our Mother Nature is simply wonderful. “In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks.”

Whenever you can see an amazing sunrise or a mesmerising sunset, stop … take a pause to look, and soak in this marvel.

“An understanding of the natural world is a source of not only great curiosity, but great fulfilment” – Sir David Attenborough. •
