Docklands locals have once again provided strong support for Cancer Council through a series of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea events across the suburb.

At Berth Restaurant’s annual event on NewQuay, organisers raised an impressive $49,000. Melbourne Football Club captain Max Gawn and Cancer Council Victoria’s Natalie Gibbs joined the event, helping mark a memorable day for residents and supporters.

Yarra’s Edge also delivered a strong result, raising $8671 through a community morning tea, raffle, auction items and a locally themed Yarra’s Edge quiz. The event was supported by sponsors, Yarra’s Edge residents and helpers, who supplied a generous morning tea. Andrea Schmidtke also attended and spoke on behalf of Cancer Council Victoria.

Melbourne Quarter also took part, with Lendlease hosting its Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday, May 21 at Melbourne Quarter Square.
