Chamber Update - September 2018

30 Aug 2018

Visit Docklands – our brand-new website

We’ve launched our brand-new website – http://www.visitdocklands.com.au aligning our social media assets with our main page.

It is a visually-driven website that will allow users to find what they are seeking within two clicks. The front page will feature the latest news, events and offers from our members and we have an online calendar that updates with the latest activations in our precinct. All of this is available for our members to advertise on.

Summer activations and promotions

Late winter is always a slow season for Docklands and the recent cold and rain hasn’t helped. But now is the time to be thinking about summer promotions and events. By the time this article appears we will have posted the City of Melbourne’s summer marketing campaign on our website and the first of the spring events for the chamber.

Expression of interest – activate the harbour

The Docklands Chamber of Commerce has released an expression of interest to construct a professionally-written business case for activation of Victoria Harbour. The full document is available on http://www.visitdocklands.com.au/tender

As an organisation we are adamant that the future of Docklands is bound to the water and that is why we will be tireless in the pursuit of permanent activation of the harbour.

Docklands Chamber continues to produce for its members

Stay informed and get involved – our Facebook profile has over 169,000 followers and always has the latest information regarding events and offers – http://www.fb.me/MelbDock. It’s also available to advertise on as is our website. In the past month we have had over 150,000 engagements and 10,000 click throughs to members’chamb websites.
