Collision claims life

A 34-year-old woman was killed in Docklands this month, following a collision on Footscray Rd.
The woman was the passenger of a Toyota Yaris, awhich was turning right into Waterfront Way from Footscray Rd, when it collided with a Toyota Landcruiser utility travelling north on Footscray Rd, just after 10am on February 1.
The female passenger died at the scene while the 36-year-old male driver of the Yaris sustained minor injuries.
A 29-year-old Hillside man was driving the Toyota Landcruiser and has been charged with culpable driving, dangerous driving causing serious injury, negligent driving causing serious injury, and possession of a drug of dependence.
Police have bailed the man to appear in Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on February 5.
