Collins Square is set to become one of Docklands’ brightest festive destinations this month as it launches its Christmas program, A Season to Shine.

With markets, Santa appearances and a community-driven food drive, the precinct is inviting workers, residents and visitors to join in a packed calendar of holiday activities.

The celebrations begin with Santa making special appearances across the precinct. Families and city workers can snap a free photo with Santa and his cheerful elf – no bookings required – on Tuesday, December 8 and Wednesday, December 10 from 10am to 2pm across the Main Retail Plaza and the Upper Plaza. Visitors may even walk away with a festive treat as part of the experience.

For those looking to tick off their Christmas shopping, Collins Square will host a two-day themed Christmas Market on December 10 and 11, also running from 10am to 2pm. Known for its popular pop-up markets throughout the year, Collins Square is taking things up a notch for the festive season with live carols and a curated selection of stalls offering gifts, treats and seasonal goodies. The market will stretch across both plazas, adding an immersive Christmas atmosphere to one of Docklands’ busiest commercial hubs.

In the spirit of giving, the precinct is partnering with Foodbank Victoria and The Salvation Army to run a Christmas Food Drive, calling on the community to donate pantry staples for families in need. Donation stations will be available throughout the Main Retail Plaza from December 1 to 5, with items collected going directly to local households facing hardship during the holiday period.

The combination of festivities, community connection and charity makes Collins Square’s program one of the most comprehensive in the Docklands area this December. With thousands of office workers returning to the precinct each week and an increasing number of residents calling Docklands home, organisers expect strong participation across all events.

Whether dropping by for a photo with Santa, browsing the festive market stalls or donating to support vulnerable Victorians, Collins Square’s A Season to Shine offers a vibrant way for the community to come together and celebrate.

The activations run across the first half of December, ensuring plenty of opportunities for visitors to enjoy the precinct’s festive atmosphere.
