Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea returns to Berth Restaurant & Events this May, aiming to raise $30,000 to support a cancer-free future.

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, May 23 featuring food, drinks, entertainment, door prizes, raffles and auctions held by Lucas Real Estate’s Mark Sutherland.

It’s the venue’s 12th year hosting the Morning Tea, and Lisa Pham, from Berth’s events team, said they expect it to be their biggest yet.

“We will have our big-ticket auction items to get some excitement and get people involved to raise funds,” she said.

“Lucas Real Estate will be joining us again, with Mark Sutherland holding the auction for us and some amazing prizes including a signed basketball from the championship-winning Tasmanian Jack Jumpers, two signed jerseys from Melbourne Victory, artwork, wine dinners and more.”

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer, a disease that one in two Australians will be diagnosed with before the age of 85.

You can reserve a table for up to 12 people for $1000 or purchase a general admission standing ticket for just $50.

Yarra’s Edge event

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea will return to Yarra’s Edge for the 8th consecutive year Community Space at 100 Lorimer St on May 23 at 10.30am.

With all funds raised going to the Cancer Council, the event will feature wellness speakers and a raffle prize pool offering lots of wonderful prizes, including dinners for two, photoshoots, wellness experiences and more.

Guests can bring a plate or donate $20. Don’t forget to bring cash for the raffle! •
