Allegedly stolen Porsche 911 worth $400k recovered in Docklands
Police have recovered a Porsche 911 in Docklands on after it was allegedly stolen in burglary in Melbourne’s inner-west.
Police said the luxury car worth $400k was allegedly stolen from a property in Hanna St, Williamstown on December 11.
Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives were able to track the car to a hotel car park in Docklands where it was recovered on December 13.
Footage from police showed the vehicle being towed in Aquitania Way.
A 34-year-old Templestowe man was also arrested in Docklands.
Police are investigating the burglary in which they believe two Rolex watches, three Chanel handbags, two Celine handbags, a Bulgari ring, Hermes bracelet and clothing were also allegedly stolen.
The man has been charged with burglary, theft, theft of motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, commit indictable offence while on bail, possess drug of dependence, possess controlled weapons and deal with proceeds of crime.
He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on December 14.
