A fishing extravaganza

A fish-feeding frenzy involving a pair of dolphins and a seal at Marina YE on August 13 proved a popular social media hit.

With nearly 10,000 views on the City of Melbourne’s Twitter feed alone, the marine performers charmed and surprised their audience.

But the human fishermen still outnumbered the estuarine marine mammals at the free-for-all.

Out of shot were a wall of two-legged hopefuls dangling a line from Australia Wharf intent on taking home their own bag of mackerel.
