Fitness classes to continue

29 Sep 2016

Mirvac has announced another year of free fitness classes at Yarra’s Edge.

The developer has teamed with social initiative Live Life Get Active to continue the program.

Olympian, Commonwealth champion and Live Life Get Active director Jane Flemming, said: “It’s all about getting people active in their local or working communities, by providing them with a way of living that is healthy and easy to adopt, in an environment that is fun and motivating. “

Held along the riverfront, the classes will run Monday to Friday for 200 days over the next 12 months and will include free group fitness via X-training, boxing and yoga classes.  Tailored nutrition plans and support is also available for attendees from highly qualified trainers.

Sessions are held at 6.30am on the corner of South Wharf Drive and Point Park Crescent and are open to the broader community. To register, visit http://www.livelifegetactive.com
