Stolen car crashes in Docklands

Two people are at large after crashing an allegedly stolen car in Docklands on August 27.

Victoria Police said investigators have been told two offenders broke into a property in Glenton Court, Gisborne, 54km northwest of Melbourne, and allegedly stole a blue BMW520 sedan about 5.15am.

They drove off before later crashing into the on-ramp of the Monash Freeway at Montague St, Docklands, about 6.10am.

Police said two male offenders wearing dark clothing were seen fleeing from the scene on foot in a southerly direction..

Macedon Ranges Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
