Fun outing for fluffy dog

Casper the Samoyed had a fun day out in NewQuay with his temporary carer Sam Steer.

Casper’s owner is the construction manager at NewQuay’s boardwalk removal project and is also Sam’s boss.

Sam said it was Casper’s first time in Docklands and he made himself very busy watching birds and pedestrians.

Though Sam had not known Casper for long and was not sure of the fluffy dog’s age or breed, he knew one thing for sure – Casper was very active.

Casper knew how to make his fitness demands heard.

“He barks when he is not being walked,” Sam said.

Sam said he would never let Casper off leash, because “he would never come back”.

The young Samoyed was apparently very excited to be at the harbour and he would jump into the water if he had the chance.

Casper was also one of the most photogenic dogs ever featured in Docklands News, looking straight into the camera in every single photo taken of him.
