Early works under way at Gurner’s Elysium Fields
Site establishment and earth works have begun on Gurner’s Docklands project at 208-226 Harbour Esplanade.
Commencing from January 14, over the coming weeks locals will notice intermittent changes to traffic conditions and public access at times as early works are undertaken, according to a recent works notification provided by the developer.
There will be a construction works zone established at the Digital Drive frontage of the site. All works will be managed by onsite certified traffic managers. There will be no road closures undertaken to enable these works to proceed.
The works will involve the use of excavators, piling rigs, concrete trucks and small utility vehicles, and will all take place between 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 8am to 3pm.
For works outside of these periods, the project’s builder Hamilton Marino will apply for appropriate permits and provide notice to residents and businesses. Those in close proximity to the work area may experience some inconvenience.
These works are expected to carry through until June. For more information, locals can email [email protected]
