Dreamrace Docklands opens with next-level tech and non-stop fun
Dreamrace Docklands officially opened its doors on June 26 at The District, bringing a new level of interactive entertainment to Melbourne’s waterfront.
Developed by Dreamskape and located right next to its existing centre, the new venue offers an array of cutting-edge attractions aimed at all ages.
The soft launch welcomed customers to be among the first to experience the futuristic space and offer feedback to help shape future developments.
Dreamrace Docklands features a mix of virtual reality, augmented reality, and high-energy physical challenges – all designed to offer unforgettable experiences in a high-tech playground.
Among the standout attractions is Dreamride, a 9D virtual reality simulator that immerses players in vivid virtual worlds.
Complete with dynamic motion, sound effects, and cinematic visuals, the ride uses synchronised movement and special effects to create an exhilarating experience that blends excitement with realism.
Dreamrace also includes Dream Ronin, a fast-paced interactive adventure designed especially for kids.
Inspired by classic platforms like Super Mario, Dream Ronin challenges players to navigate a range of physical obstacles that test timing, patience, and problem-solving.
The experience also aims to build endurance and mental toughness in young players – all while keeping things fun and fast-paced.
For those up for a challenge, Dream Spartan offers a high-intensity obstacle course inspired by Ninja Warrior.
Players wear sensor-equipped waistbands that track their progress as they race through a series of physical challenges, tagging light-up checkpoints along the way.
With multiple difficulty levels and a focus on speed, strength, and balance, the course has quickly become a crowd favourite.
There is also an interactive ball pit and AR drawing zone, combining play with creative expression.
Another attraction, Hurricane, is expected to launch soon, adding even more to the Dreamrace lineup.
Dreamrace Docklands marks another major step in Dreamskape’s mission to redefine immersive entertainment.
