Docklands celebrates Melbourne Day
2nd October, 2012
Docklands stepped back in time last month during the Melbourne Day celebrations at Waterfront City.
Melbourne Day marks the anniversary of Melbourne’s founding in 1835, when the first settlers arrived on board the Enterprize.
Dressed in period clothing, the modern-day crew of the Enterprize re-enacted the arrival of Melbourne’s first settlers.
They were accompanied by two descendants of original Enterprize crew members.
