NewQuay traders claiming a refund on precinct fees have been told to apply to VCAT as individuals.
Some 27 traders had joined forces for the action. Some had been knocked out of the action because they were tenants and not owners.
Now the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal has told the remaining traders they must lodge individual applications if they want to be heard. The tribunal has given the traders until October 14 to comply.
The traders are claiming that their precinct fees have been collected illegally.
