On March 14, mums, dads, kids, athletes and celebrities all tied up their running shoes for the annual Run for the Kids.

The run, which raises money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, raised a record $1,050,000.

Nathan Hartigan, of Mt Helen, was the first out of 30,000 participants to cross the line and Melbourne-based Olympian, Lisa Weightman took the women’s title.
