Well done girls

Well done girls

Harmony is the team to watch. This team of 12 girls aged between 10-15 were wonderful on Saturday, November 26 at the National Synchronised Skating championships.

Luckily for Melburnians, the championship was held at Docklands’ own O’Brien Group Arena.

The girls were up against very steep competition since many of the other teams are actually at a much higher grade and there were 11 teams to contend with. Although Harmony didn’t place in the top three, they placed first in Docklands’ hearts.

The coaches Amber and Michelle choreographed an entertaining Halloween-themed performance.

The stunning green and purple glittered costumes flowed around the ice magically and the team gracefully keep their lines and elements strong.

Their four-minute performance had the crowds cheering and clapping for more.

The girls will be moving up a grade in 2017 and look forward to the challenge this brings.

Early mornings and hours of off ice practise will put them in good stead for next years’ national competition.
