Sports club to launch

29 Oct 2019

By Ed McLeish

The Docklands Sports Club (DSC) will officially launch on November 24.

To be held at its home at Ron Barassi Snr Park from 11am to 1pm, the launch will see appearances from North Melbourne Football Club, Melbourne Stars and A-League club Western United FC.

Supported by the City of Melbourne and local businesses including Lucas Real Estate, The District Docklands and MAB, DSC president Carina Parisella said the team was excited to meet as many people in the community as possible.

There will be plenty of entertainment throughout the day, with free family activities, games, a DJ, competitions and giveaways.

DSC punters can expect tastes from local ice creamery Kep Whitley, as well as an appearance from Lord Mayor Sally Capp.
