Sheriff action

The Sheriff’s Office caught 28 people with 255 outstanding infringement warrants valued at more than $76,000 when they blitzed Wurundjeri Way on October 28.

Fourteen people were given a notice that their driver licence or vehicle registration would be suspended if they did not arrange to pay within seven days. These notices were issued against 150 warrants worth more than $45,000.

Six individuals paid their fines in full, finalising 20 warrants worth more than $7000.

This follows an operation in September at the same location where the Sheriff’s Office caught 12 people with 201 outstanding infringement warrants valued at more than $61,000.
