A day out on the water proved to be an inspiring jaunt for a group of artists in Docklands last month.
Around 40 artists enjoyed a boat tour around the harbour and port, getting an up-close view of enormous container ships.
The tour, arranged by the Mission to Seafarers, aimed to provide budding and professional artists with some real-life inspiration in the lead up to the ANL Maritime Art Prize and Exhibition.
The exhibition is held at the mission each October and features maritime-themed artwork.
Following the tour, the group of artists had the opportunity to join in a painting session near the mission.
