Pure Docklands networking

The December Docklands Networking Lunch proved to be a great chance for local business people to get together and celebrate the end of the year.

Around 80 people attended the festive lunch at Etihad Stadium and enjoyed a meal while making connections within the local business community.

The next Docklands Networking Lunch is on Friday, March 21 and will see attendees head out for a midday cruise on the Lady Cutler.

It is vitally important that attendees board the vessel at Central Pier at 12 noon as late entrants will only be accepted by boat or by very strong swimming.

As always, the price for the lunch is $60 and bookings need to be made by March 14.

The menu for the March networking lunch is:        

Entrée: Seafood platters consisting of prawns, smoked salmon and oysters.

Main: Char-grilled eye fillet on potato rosti with spinach puree and port wine jus or panzanella chicken breast, tomato, red onion, capers, basil and crisp bread, topped with a white wine cream basil sauce dressed with fresh lemon and olive oil.

Dessert: Roaming platters of mini assorted sweets.       

Beverages: House beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
